Hydrogen and Gas Facility Designer 2 - AVEVA Specialist

 

Cordoba Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Hydrogen and Gas Facility Designer 2 with expertise in AVEVA software for its Gas sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our design team, contributing to developing cutting-edge facilities for our clients. This position requires strong technical proficiency, creativity, and a deep understanding of industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AVEVA software to design and model oil and gas facilities, including offshore platforms, refineries, and petrochemical plants.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive facility layouts and engineering designs that meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Lead the development of 3D models, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other technical drawings using AVEVA software.
  • Perform design reviews and evaluations to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior designers and engineers, supporting their professional development and growth.
  • Work closely with project managers, clients, and vendors to coordinate design activities, resolve technical challenges, and optimize project outcomes.
  • Stay current with industry trends, software advancements, and emerging technologies to improve design processes and deliverables continuously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Five to eight years of experience in oil and gas facility design, focusing on AVEVA software.
  • Proficiency in AVEVA E3D, PDMS, or similar 3D design tools, with a strong understanding of their capabilities and functionalities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in producing detailed facility layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, and other engineering drawings using AVEVA software.
  • Extensive knowledge of oil and gas industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, ISO).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, committed to delivering high-quality designs on time and within budget.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior staff and guiding them toward professional growth and development.
  • Hybrid role: Two to three days in the office
  • Salary Range: $35.00 to $50.00 per hour.
