Senior Civil Engineer - Transportation
Responsible for managing the planning and design stages of civil engineering projects. Work includes all technical aspects of projects under project managers’ direction, including preparation of project estimates, budgets, and schedules and allocation of resources. Apply advanced or state-of-the-art knowledge and experience to resolve crucial issues and unique conditions. Perform independent evaluations by selecting and applying standard engineering techniques, provide procedures and criteria for jobs assigned, and use judgment in making adaptations and modifications. Also, perform responsible and varied engineering assignments requiring a general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other disciplines. Independently perform all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works. Solve problems by combining standard procedures, modification of standard procedures, or methods developed in previous assignments. Perform work that may include various complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.

Salary Range: $185,000 to $225,000 per year.
Location: Los Angeles, CA - Three times a week in the office.
