Overview

Cordoba Corporation, a leading civil engineering firm based in California. We are seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager to support our Cordoba Transportation Sector. In this position, you will oversee the architectural design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive architectural knowledge, and the ability to manage a team of designers and engineers. The candidate must be a Licensed Architect (RA) with a proven track record in architectural design and project management. This is a Hybrid role in Los Angeles.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of architectural designs for various projects.
  • Oversee all phases of the design process, including concept development, design, documentation, and construction administration.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives, providing expert guidance and design solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of architects, designers, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Review and approve design plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency in architectural design.
  • Deliver projects in compliance with client and company quality control procedures and engineering guidelines.
  • Participate on project teams in an active production role.
  • Preparation of project specifications
  • Daily interaction and collaboration on cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience leading large projects.
  • Licensed Architect (RA) with a proven track record in architectural design and project management.
  • Extensive experience in leading architectural projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write engineering reports and specifications.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master's degree in architecture.
  • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED.
  • Previous experience designing transportation facilities and buildings.
  • Salary Range: $250,000 - $280,000 per year.
  • Work Location: Hybrid- Three Days in the office
