Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Service Planner to join our Electric sector. The Service Planner work on multiple projects related to our San Diego client program. This role will be responsible for coordinating with project teams on project schedules, milestones, timelines, engineering, project deliverables, and scope changes related to the projects.

Responsibilities

  • Multitask on several projects and task deliveries related to each project requirement.
  • Support and facilitate all activities leading to the successful completion of tasks, including scoping, permitting, project governance, design, and construction projects.
  • Review engineering design/drawings and engineer-related scope of work.
  • Support and work with the Project Manager on project planning and field site visits.
  • File and organize project files in Shared drives.
  • Log work efforts on project activity logs.
  • Coordinate with the project team, including utility managers, technical supervisors, field engineering representatives, and other departments, subcontractors, and organizations to complete the assigned projects.
  • Support construction efforts as deemed necessary for project construction.
  • Understand project scope, project delivery, cost, and schedules.
  • Ensure that the assigned projects are completed safely, producing a quality product that is in accordance with governing codes, agencies, and client requirements, as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  • Support meetings with clients, subcontractors, customers, and governing agencies.
  • Report progress in achieving the required work scope to the client on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of utilities industry experience required; Electric utility experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2-year technical degree preferred; high school diploma with proven technical proficiency required
  • Electric Utility Planner certificate highly preferred
  • Experience using SAP or other project management software
  • Experience using GIS, AUD, CAD and/or other Drafting Tools
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and meet deadlines of high-volume and concurrent projects/assignments
  • Advanced problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail, diligent work ethic, emphasis on quality control, and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills

 

Pay Range:  $62,400.00 to $124,800.00 per year

 

Work Location: Remote with travel 4 days per week to project and field sites within San Diego County 

 

Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship

 

Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check

 

Travel: Up to 70-90% travel within San Diego County (company vehicle provided)
