As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce. This leadership position involves overseeing recruitment for assigned sectors, leading a team of recruiters, and managing your own requisition workload including staff augmentation positions. You will provide full-cycle recruitment services, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent in the industry. 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively, generates, attracts, and acquires top talent by creating targeted external recruitment strategies using job boards, social media, resume databases, recruitment marketing campaigns (CRM) as well as employee referrals, internal database, career fairs, and hiring events.
  • Conducts initial phone screens with candidates to assess technical skills and cultural fit and present recommended candidates to hiring managers.
  • Schedules hiring manager and hiring team interviews and obtains interviewer feedback, providing recommendations for hiring best practices.
  • Partners with hiring managers and sector leaders to understand sectors’ current and forecasted hiring needs.
  • Advises hiring teams and assigned sector leaders on recruitment process, policies, technology, talent insights, and best practices in partnership with HR Directors.
  • Communicates with sector leaders to consistently provide updates and to ensure team and process alignment with business needs and priorities.
  • Generates sector requisition and workflow reports and presents to sector leadership.
  • Tracks sector TA recruitment metrics and presents to HR Director on a weekly basis.
  • Leads, coaches and mentors’ junior talent acquisition team members and works with team members, HR Directors, and hiring manager to resolve issues/concerns that may arise.
  • Assists hiring managers create job descriptions from standardized templates, consult on best practices, and open new requisitions in iCIMS including routing for approvals.
  • Assigns sector junior Talent Acquisition Specialists appropriate requisitions.
  • Partners with assigned Talent Acquisition Specialist, hiring managers, and HR Director to create and input offers into iCIMS and route for approvals.
  • Understands the external factors that impact the supply of top talent, position tenure, salary level structure, candidate supply, and candidate requirements for various job categories.
  • Assists in training hiring leaders in the interviewing and onboarding processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of talent acquisition experience including sourcing and passive recruiting required
  • Experience with and/or ability to work in a staff augmentation environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (i.e. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype, etc.)
  • Experience and willingness to work in a very fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ATS Systems and sourcing tools
  • Expertise in proactive sourcing including building and managing proactive pipelines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Adaptable and flexible to change
  • Strong leadership skills able to inspire and motivate team members
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality mindset
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of experience recruiting in a civil engineering, architectural or construction management firm and/or agency, VMS, MSP experience, highly desired
  • Experience using iCIMS (new version), UKG, and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience using CRM platforms and creating/managing candidate outreach campaigns 

 

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000

Work Environment: Hybrid (1 to 2 days in the office per week)

Location: Santa Ana or Orange County preferred.  Also open to San Diego, Los Angeles, Ontario, or Chatsworth.

Travel: up to 15%
