Overview

Cordoba Corporation is committed to helping to develop the construction leaders of tomorrow with internships to gain experience in the construction industry. We are hiring an intern to work with our Bond Construction Management program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience related to higher education construction projects and public works construction projects, preconstruction, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Works with project engineers, coordinators, and project managers on client projects.
  • Assists Project Manager in the daily management, reporting, communications, operations, coordination, and general administrative needs of projects assigned.
  • Assists with daily management tasks on an active construction site.
  • Ensures standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.
  • Prepares project-related reports and fact sheets.
  • Represents respective projects at meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree Program in the pursuit of an architecture, engineering, construction management, or equivalent
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Excellent verbal written, and interpersonal communication skills needed for interaction with district personnel, contractors, and all other representatives
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, exhibit strong organizational skills, have a “think outside the box” attitude
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Solid attention to detail

 Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Bluebeam and Procore, preferred

Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00
