Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Project Closeout Analyst to join our Gas sector. The Project Closeout Analyst works directly with Project Manager on closeout responsibilities including but not limited to material traceability, accounting, document verification and all other closeout activities on their assigned projects. It is accomplished through field site visits and post construction final review after construction turnover.

Responsibilities

  • Review material traceability documentation redlined IFC construction engineered drawings and strength test documents. Utilizes other LOA records such as material traceability records, weld maps, survey package and PWIR in this review.
  • Establish the closeout schedule and acts as the liaison between SCG departments, Project Managers and Engineering firms to meet required milestones driving a successful project closeout (Bundle A/Bundle B).
  • Coordinate and leads post construction meetings all activities leading to the successful completion of tasks pertaining to project closeout.
  • Provide support and assistance to Project Managers and outside engineering services regarding creation of Completion Sets and Survey Data files.
  • Review engineering designs/drawings against redlined drawings to confirm all required data is complete and established prior to Bundle A submittal. Reviews and confirms Completion Sets are ready for Bundle A submittal to engineering firm.
  • Support internal and external audits and data requests.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience providing direct project coordinator and/or administrative support is required
  • Intermediate proficiency using MS Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, SharePoint is required
  • Intermediate proficiency using Acrobat Writer is required
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree is preferred
  • Familiarity with reviewing construction and utility documents is preferred
  • Knowledge of Governing Regulations such as API 1104 20TH Edition, Pipeline Safety Regulations 192 or most current edition is preferred
  • General knowledge of utility specifications and requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities, problem solve effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to make decisions and resolutions through interpretation of governing regulations

Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

 

Work Location: Hybrid 4-5 days per week in the Chatsworth office and travel to project sites within the Southern California area as needed

 

Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship

 

Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check
