We are growing and looking for a talented Construction Manager work on various projects for our education client. This person will manage various construction and improvement projects.

• Oversees the day-to-day management of the construction program and individual projects ranging from $10K to $120M.
• Manages all aspects of project delivery, including planning, design, construction, and closeout.
• Ensures effective communication and collaboration with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinates and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Prepares and present regular project status reports to clients and senior management.
• Addresses and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
• Ensures adherence to safety standards and regulations on all project sites.
• Provides leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develops and manages project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and financial accountability.
• Conducts regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Implements risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
• Ensures all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained.

• 7-15 years of experience in Public Works, K-14, and Higher Education construction projects
• Strong background in Construction Management and Project Management
• Proven ability to manage projects from inception through to closeout
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable and flexible with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards

Preferred:

• Experience on education campuses is a plus

Salary Range: $145,000 to $165,000 per year.

Location: Orange County, CA
