Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a BIM/GIS Coordinator II to join our Facilities Sector. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experienceas a project engineer, VDC coordinator or relevant experience.This position is for a construction/architectural engineering professional. The BIM/VDC Coordinator works closely with the BIM Manager and the client to implement BIM.

Responsibilities

  • Bluebeam
    o Managing BlueBeam studio sessions
    o Provide BlueBeam training
    o General tech support
  • ProjectWise
    o Managing ProjectWise database
    o Uploading/Downloading files as needed
    o Managing users
    o Provide Training
    o Providing monthly reports
    o General Tech support
    o Research data as requested by District and PMO
    o Review DSA/CD/AS-Built/Red line drawing sets for completeness
  • QA/QC
    o Review CAD/BIM As-Built drawings for compliance and completeness
    o Review Drawing sets for completenes
  • GIS
    o Provide support as requested for ArchGIS
  • Communication
    o Direct communication via phone and emails with college teams to track down deliverables
    o Reporting and tracking to PMO weekly 
  • Travel
    o Visit colleges as requested
    o Interface with college team
  • BIM
    o Provide supplemental modeling as requested by the CPT and PMO
    o Revit BIM models as requested
  • LIDAR
    o Provide support as requested
  • Support
    o Provide support to college teams/ district/ facilities in finding documents as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related field
  • 1 or more years of experience BIM/VDC coordinator or relevant experience
  • Requires well rounded experience working with Design and Construction teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD/BlueBeam
  • Experience with closeout processes.

Salary Range: $63,000 to $71,000 per year

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Work Environment: Onsite
