Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Transmission and Distribution Lines Engineer II  to join our Energy-Electric sector. As a Transmission and Distribution Lines Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, or conducting quality control (QC) reviews on electrical transmission and distribution lines. This role involves working on projects that contribute to the development and enhancement of power infrastructure. The Transmission and Distribution Lines Engineer plays a pivotal role in maintaining industry standards, implementing innovative solutions, and providing technical expertise in the field.

• Designs, analyzes or QC transmission and distribution lines using state-of-the-art software, including PLS-CADD or other utility relevant engineering software.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Applies engineering principles to optimize the performance and reliability of transmission and distribution lines.
• Conducts QC assessments to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
• Identifies issues and raises them for management review along with potential solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Stays abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
• Attends meetings with clients, vendors and governing agencies as required.
• Contributes to the development and implementation of department and company goals.
• Participates in special projects or tasks as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field required
• 3-5 years of experience in Electric transmission and/or distribution lines engineering required
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) required
• Engineering project experience related to Electric transmission and/or distribution lines
• In-depth knowledge of Electric utility industry standards and regulations
• Proficient in PLS-CADD or other utility relevant engineering software
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Pay Range: $90,000 - $124,000 per year

Work Environment: Hybrid 1-2 day per week in the San Diego, CA office

Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship

Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check
