Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Program Controls-Eaton Fire Recovery to support our Education & Facilities Sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining complete and accurate documentation for all fire recovery projects and related expenditures. Ensures that insurance and recovery records are tracked separately from bond-funded activities and that all supporting documentation, justification forms, and cost records are properly filed and reported. Coordinates with project and program managers to verify that documentation for all recovery work is compliant with insurance, federal, and state requirements. Monitors and updates recovery tracking sheets, maintains organized digital files, and supports reporting to the insurance carrier and District leadership to ensure full transparency and reimbursement eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all fire recovery projects and related expenditures
  • Ensure insurance and recovery records are tracked separately from bond-funded activities
  • File and report all supporting documentation, justification forms, and cost records properly
  • Coordinate with project and program managers to verify compliance with:
    • Insurance requirements
    • Federal regulations
    • State guidelines
  • Monitor and update recovery tracking sheets
  • Maintain organized digital files for efficient access and reporting
  • Support reporting efforts to:
    • Insurance carriers
    • District leadership
    • Ensure transparency and reimbursement eligibility

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Construction Management, or related field 
  • Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in:
    • Project Controls
    • Documentation Management
    • Insurance recovery for public works or capital programs

Preferred Certifications/Skills

  • Training or experience in FEMA, CalOES, or insurance reimbursement documentation
  • Knowledge of public procurement and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in digital recordkeeping and document control systems (e.g., Kahua, Unifier, Excel)
  • Equivalent combination of applied training and relevant experience

Salary Range: $145,000 to $190,000 per year

Location: Altadena, CA

Work Environment: Onsite
