Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking an Outreach Coordinator I – Labor Compliance & CWA Coordination to join our Education & Facilities Sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordination and monitoring of the District’s Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) and all associated labor compliance activities. Tracks certified payrolls, verifies workforce participation goals, and ensures contractor compliance with prevailing wage and local hire requirements. Provides support to the Outreach Lead and Coordinator II on cross-program outreach, small business engagement, and community relations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the District’s Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) across all bond-funded projects
  • Track certified payroll submissions and verify workforce participation goals
  • Ensure contractor compliance with Prevailing wage requirements and local hire commitments
  • Support the Outreach Lead and Coordinator II with Cross-program outreach initiatives, small business engagement activities, and community relations and stakeholder communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Business Administration. Equivalent public outreach or community engagement experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in outreach, compliance, or program communications.

Preferred Cettifications/Skills

  • Public Information Officer (PIO – CAPIO or PRSA)
  • Certified Compliance Administrator (CCA)
  • Experience implementing labor compliance and small business participation programs

Salary Range: $75,000 to $115,000 per year

Location: Altadena, CA

Work environment: Onsite
