Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our Facilities Sector. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive project management support for public works and capital improvement projects. This full‑time staff extension role is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining project schedules while supporting effective time and cost control across all phases of construction.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analysis and review of construction schedules (baseline/updates) and Time Impact Analysis (TIA) reports
  • Prepare the master and detailed time schedules
  • Input resources, costs, project budget, performance percent complete for EVM reports, resource assignments, and leveling.
  • Utilize Critical Path Method and milestones plan for monitoring deliverables
  • Time and cost control for all sub-contracts, sub-suppliers, and stakeholders for the prime contract.
  • Prepare cash flow and dedicated charts, progress meeting schedule, daily, weekly, and monthly reports, documents and correspondences, and contracts control and management.
  • Monitor project progress against a determined baseline. Prepare analysis for staff and stakeholders and identifying critical paths, near critical paths, milestone impacts, phasing shifts, and potential trends.
  • Provide impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances and opportunities, and develops mitigation plans for the Project Management team.
  • Provide reporting documents and briefing materials. Develops creative reporting tools to communicate complex project sequencing and/or progress assessments. Responsible for promptly reporting schedule interruptions or other variances.
  • Prepares detailed plans and time scaled charts and diagrams for executive review and presentation.
  • Maintain simplified logic schedules to highlight status of key interfaces for critical path review.
  • Review design and/or construction schedules and provide written comments, Coordinates schedule comments and corrections with Contractor.
  • Advises senior project management team of schedule performance issues.
  • Evaluate requests for time extensions. Perform windows analyses and prepare write-ups with executive recommendations for action.
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction planning schedules for new construction and renovation work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years working in the construction project management field.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and excellence in customer service.
  • Detail oriented with effective organization and coordination skills.
  • Ability to be flexible/adaptable in evolving procedures and work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
  • Proactive in taking initiatives to seek solutions with minimum, vague, and/or conflicting guidelines.
  • Experience working in a cohesive team environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in working with capital and public works projects.
  • Experience in drafting and editing status reports, meeting minutes, memos, and letters.
  • Experience in assisting project team to keep management informed on project progress.

Salary Range: $140,000 to $160,000 yearly

Location: Alhambra, CA

Work Environment: Onsite
