Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and program management firm based in California. We are seeking an Engineer II to join our Energy-Gas sector. The Engineer II will support the execution of Gas Utility Pipeline Integrity projects by applying foundational engineering principles and technical expertise. This role requires In-line Inspection (ILI) and Direct Assessment (DA) engineering experience and involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, technical documentation skills, including the ability to clearly present analyses, findings, recommendations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The Engineer II will analyze routine inspection, monitoring, integrity data to identify trends, emerging risks, and performance gaps.  Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a dynamic utility environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
• 4+ years of Gas Utility In-line Inspection (ILI) engineering experience required
• Experience with Integrity Assessments, Direct Assessments, Pressure Testing and ILI required
• Proficiency in AMPP, CP1, CPs, CP3 and API 579
• EIT (Engineer in Training) certification preferred
• Ability to analyze routine inspection, monitoring, and integrity data to identify trends, emerging risks, and performance gaps
• Strong technical documentation skills, including the ability to clearly present analyses, findings, and recommendations
• Experience working on multiple discipline projects with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Range: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid 3-4 days per week in the Los Angeles, CA office

Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship

Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check
